It's been a while since I've baked any bread, and yesterday I had a go at baking focaccia. I've only baked it twice before, and this time the result was .... I'll let you be the judge. In my video I've condensed over two and a half hour baking down to 2 minutes. Here's a little glimpse of the final output. Let me know what you think after you've watched the video.

Thanks! Baking bread is a long process but the amount of time that you actually do something isn't that much, most of the time you just wait around

Great to hear that. Baking foccacia. Is it another name for another food over there or let me say another type of bread?

Foccacia is a type of Italian bread which has herbs in it, I put rosemary in mine.

Great job @livinguktaiwan! And thank you for adding breadbakers tag. Focaccia is something nice we can eat for lunch along with soup/salad, with wine in the evening. The way you showed the cooking process is like a cooking show. Great job for this part too. You may be the first bread baking DTuber on Steemit :D

Yeah it turned to be focaccia! It's one of my favorite bread. Talking something crazy about focaccia ....... I think I baked hundreds of focaccia at least 100-200 in this 4, 5 years. I baked it for events, workshops, guests etc and of course for my family.

The recipe I use takes 4 hours but almost no kneading. I start after the breakfast and it's ready for lunch. For dinner I start after coffee break. Once I brought dough in a box to my work place and baked it for lunch ;)

Focaccia is great. It's a great Italian invention.

OMG! And there I am doing a demo in front of the expert, now I'm embarassed ... Hopefully you will share your no kneading recipe one day so I can try it.

No no no I'm not an expert ... and I made a mistake. The one I baked was ciabatta not focaccia. I don't know why but always I mix them up.

But they are the same until shaping. The recipe is from this book. Every hour just folding two times instead of kneading.

Focaccia can be made with any type of bread/pizza dough, left for long enough. Friends make it when their bread overproofs way too much. A small piece of advice would be to flatten the dough to spread it out to a shape of the tin, then pricking it with a finger quite regularly and then putting olive oil, rosemary and coarse salt on top. And it can do the final rise for much longer - doesn't have to, it's just a hint that focaccia isn't about a big rise.

I suddenly got hungry, I'll go and get breakfast :)

I was sure what shape it was suppose to be that's why I spent a while trying to flatten it and I still couldn't make up my mind. Thanks for your comment and advice @breadcentric, appreciate it.
