The SteemSavvy 'Random' Session - How To Jump On Board The Twitter Train!
So remember when these were supposed to be scheduled on Sundays?
Yeah me too...
Since the birth of my son a few weeks ago (and then with my mom in town) my life has been...Turned upside down :)
But we still got to hang out with some awesome members of the @SteemSavvy community last night....On a random session.
What was cool about this is that @ph1102 fired up the convo by suggesting in the SteemSavvy Discord that we go over some of the tips and tricks for using Twitter to effectively promote Steem!
I thought it was a great idea....
So while this wasn't scripted and obviously not done on a Sunday night, we hope it helps you guys that may be new to Twitter and want to jump into the fun.
With the massive success of #Seven77 and other Twitter based promotions to bring awareness to Steem, we hope this 'Random Session' helps you on your journey!

Even though I am very familiar with TWTR as you know, I still find this video very helpful & appreciate the point of views on social media as a whole. At first, I was annoyed that Instagram did away with the likes but I figured maybe in the long run, it will encourage more engagement, which I want with my posts. (I admit, though, the likes give my heart a boost, too ;) )
I can't wait until the next session. I miss hanging with you guys online. :D
the instagram thing is more hidden than anything. but it’s a vanity metric people loved. no idea why they did away with it

I agree. I think in our own posts, we can still look at the analytics. But I don't worry about it too much. As long as we are authentic, we will attract the right audience 😊

Yeah that would be awesome. I don't usually stay up that late but if they are at a time I'm around, count me in for sure.
Yes, Instagram seems to be my go to usually. It's pretty user friendly once you get used to it! 😊

it stands for return on community . I say that is greater than return on income because in steem because of the rewards pool we have the opportunity to invest in community and in turn that investment into that intention will actually increase our ROI. It works better here than in the real world.
out of simple curiosity I wanted to know, for post like these does every comment that isn’t spam get a SBI share?
i try to give them out as much as possible. but if someone is just saying ‘good post’ i won’t reward that.

in a nutshell. don’t tag everyone in your twitter updates. and keep the hashtags to a minimum but very targeted :)

We have to use social networks OUTSIDE the Steem to attract new users to it... It is not the only way, but it is a good one!
