The Dtube Book Review - Steal Like An Artist by Austin Kleon
A few months ago @NathanMars recommended a book to me by Austin Kleon called 'Show Your Work'.
It was...Epic! And got me following Austin on a bunch of different social media platforms. Recently he announced that his brand new book 'Keep Going' would be released....
Of course, the book stores in my city aren't carrying it yet, so I did the next best thing....I bought his previous book 'Steal Like An Artist'.
This was a fascinating read! And don't worry he isn't suggesting that we go out and hold up a corner store....He's talking about finding ways to be creative by learning from amazing people!

Mentorship cane to mind when listening to you as a great learning in my life was to assimilate the traits that made many leaders I have worked with that have made then successful! I recall being in meeting and just listening with not talking and they were often when I learned the most!

LMAO! Toodles - that was epic lol. Anyways, I love the fact the book pointed out about keeping simplicity in our content that we put out on the blockchain. That is SO true. I can be kind of a "perfectionist' with my videos & tend to overthink the details. I am always tweaking them & this is a great reminder to make it more approachable for viewers to use and watch.
Well, I think you just had me add a few more books to my bucket list lol. Time to hit Barnes & Noble soon! ;)
there is huge impact when we keep things simple. i think it’s something we need to all try to build in our businesses and content.
