This is NOT a physical repair, but Grind Stormer cartridges are known for a defect that causes them to deteriorate with age. If you are interested in gadgets for playing retro games, and devices for playing games on retro hardware, this videos show as way to 'fix' your problem with out any modification on the original cartridge.
