Would you move to another blockchain if gives you more oportunities to grow economically, social and in your networking ? Honest answers please
Hello @dtube comunity today i have this hones question to all of you. I was thinking in these days that maybe steem is not the best blockchain to social networking... i dont know maybe you can give some nice arguments about yes.

First, the monetary rewards has never been my attraction to the steem blockchain. My Dolphinhood was purchased with BTC so my purchase of steem has been much greater than my rewards at this point; although it has turned out to be a good investment from my purchase price of 8275 btc satoshi. 😎
Being a crypto advocate for a number of years now, my excitement about steem was its fast and cheap transaction time through the use of the, then, new idea of DPOS which seemed to be the first solution to crypto's scalability problems.
Coming from the PoW crypto community, the social media aspect of steem has always been just another dApp to my way of thinking. Granted a very important dApp to the community (condenser) but one all the same.
The steem blockchain is an incredible experiment which is working out details of governance that will affect blockchain technology going forward and its censored free nature will be a boon to free speach.
Anyone that is only here [just] for the rewards doesn't get it in my opinion and it is my feeling that the project would be better off without them.

As I wrote some people really needs that income for their daily life... for example in Venezuela they can live with few usd a month, thisnplatform helped them a lot...

It is great for the users in question yet will put downward pressure on the value of steem. So in that sense they, generally, are not helping the project. Perhaps dApps can counter that pressure as time goes by.

No other blockchain exists like steem. Eos froze a lot of peoples accounts. steem witnesses do not agree with that.
I would like steem alot more if whales didnt have the abilty to print there own money. Even with the price down whale still have there own purple circal and rarely upvote anyone else, Even tho i see some high quality content. As long as the whale continue what they are doing and self upvote are still around steem wont go anywhere
the problem is the reward pool is up for grabs by oanyone, in anyway they can.
It belongs to know one - it is no one poroery.
ergo..it can't function as a healthy free market (free markets depend on property transactions ,to exist)
The reward pool is not that and that's the fundamental flaw to the system.
(especially when it's sold as 'free market' grrrrrr)
Just not having self upvotes would help so much. Its a token use case but at the same time its adding no value. If you my 1000 dollars of steem your upvote power is worth only a few cents its not convincing anyone to buy or hold on to steem. All its doing if giving whales printing power.
yes i am agree in some way with that, excepting some amazing platforms as @dtube and users as nathanmars ... whales are self supporting in some cases
Alot of the whales put out quality content and desever upvotes but at the same time they dont give anyone else any. its all the self up vote its just a greedy way of adding a use case to steem coin but its only hurting steem if anything
What is your real motive to be here and want you what to achieve. You already knows the answer.
Steem is not for everyone, maybe something is better out there for your niche.
