That looks like a great birthday trip! I celebrated my birthday last year by arranging a Meetup event to climb one of my favourite mountains, Ben Vane. I didn't actually tell anyone on the climb that it was for my birthday until we were having coffee and cake afterwards, because I didn't want people to feel they had to bring me presents! Next year I will tell people, and I'll just say "No presents" in the event description.
The campfire looks great. My birthday is at the end of Feb, so it's more likely that we would build a snowman than a campfire though!
That sounds cool too! And I like the idea of bringing the people to an adventure without saying the reason but to make them a surprise when you bring the cake afterwards :D
Belated Happy Birthday! I wish I could also spend my upcoming birthday few days from now in the mountain. I just need a refreshing environment to at least forget the hustle and bustle in the city even just for a day.
