"GEMA's Song" : a song about pursuing your dreams and transforming your heart into a diamond
Hi! Today is my first time posting on Dtube and I want to start with Gema's song. This song is very important to me because is part of an artistic/musical/social project called Butterflies for Puerto Rico. The project started as an artistic and musical project before hurricane Maria. Together with musicans Eunis and Zire from Klaro de Luna, Fernando Madera, Nore Feliciano and Abraham Dorta, we composed songs inspired in the characters of my short story "The Journey of the Butterflies".
After hurricane Maria, the project became and artistic/musical/social project and musicians from other parts of the world joined to help raise money for the island. North-american singer Marcelle Gauvin composed Marcie's song and help ship baby formula, water filters and other goods to the island.
