A SIX PACK IS MADE IN THE KITCHEN NOT IN THE GYM!

Know the Universal Laws of the body and develop your own rules to go with them. Here are my set of rules and the laws that helped me decide them. The laws apply to everyone but the rules are yours to discover.

  • Rule #1 - Eat as soon as you wake up and Eat as soon as you finish working out.
    Why?
  • Law #1 - When you fast or stress the body you release cortisol. Cortisol makes you fat. When you eat you release insulin. When insulin in high cortisol is low.
  • Rule #2 - Eat 6 times a day and every 2-3 Hours.
    Why?
  • Law #2 - To control the the amount of fat stored in the body you must control you insulin sensitivity. Eating smaller meals more often and a maximum and minimum of 6 meals a day will achieve this.
  • Rule #3 - Every Meal will have a protein source.
    Law #3 - Protein is needed to build muscle. The more muscle mass the more the body will burn fat as energy.
  • Rule #4 - Only your first 3 meals will have simple carbs your last 3 meals will not.
  • Law #4 - Carbs turn into sugar in the body. Your body will use sugar in your blood as energy. As the day goes by we want the body to burn fat not sugar. This way, by the time you go to sleep, the body only has fat to burn.

Besides the rules and laws you want to take your supplements and vitamins + fatty acids. All these are good to maintain an efficient immune system at times of stress.
Getting a six pack can be stressful.

I work out 6 out of every 7 days. Rest day falls on what ever day of the week that falls on. I don't do a Monday through Sunday schedule. This way I workout the same muscle groups every 5 days.

Day 1 - Chest and Back
Day 2 - Biceps and Triceps
Day 3 - Cardio (30 Minutes on treadmill) and Ab workout (nothing amazingly difficult)
Day 4 - Legs
Day 5 - Rest day (not as much fun as you think...because the day before was leg day)
Repeat!

Everyone has their methods and science. I hope you find whats right for you. I personally would doing as much cardio as possible with a weight training program. I think everyone can have a six pack without lifting a single weight. You just need to work hard to tighten up that midsection.

What's your sleep schedule Ozzie? You get up at 4.30 but what time do you go to bed?

Usually around 12:30am to 1 am LOL. Yeah I know. I need to change up the schedule. Instead of waking up early for the gym, I'm going to start waking up early to edit and just do the gym at lunch time. That way I can go to bed early. It's taking it's toll. TGIF!

Very interesting post!!! I prefer high-intensity programs to get as lean as possible. Have you ever try them?

THANK YOU FOR RESTEEMING! You are the best. All my workouts have a high-intensity feel. The whole regimen consists of super-sets with no rest in between. I have to go to the gym in the morning because the equipment is available. That way I can jump from one place to the other with out waiting.

I could see you were pretty tired today man :) keep pushing! you mentioned next week is off and you will be eating pizza dooughts etc, you gona skip on the diet? or only for one day?

G! it's going to be 1 week of mayhem! LOL Don't watch because you'll be pulling your hair. HAHA. It's all part of the plan. I do it to kick the plateaus ass. I'll be right back at the diet after that.

Long time no see, I notice you are making progress, I find it remarkable that you are still working out everyday. Takes some serious effort...

I find absolutely no time to hit the gym anymore. Since I started working I'm coming home tired and smashed not wanting to do anything but watch a movie or serie lol.

How are you doing for the rest? How is your kid?

Hey Max! I know it's been a while. Everything is great. Except my sleep schedule. lol. I'll make changes accordingly to fix that. Man I wish I can just sit down and watch netflix or something. I'm just to busy with work and Dtube and the kids. I wish I had 36 hours in a day. The gym will give you energy man, try to gooo! lol

Give me energy? I highly doubt it hahaha, good to hear you are doing good though :) and yes I can understand that this dtube thing is exhausting you in some way hehe you do realise that you can skip the gym sometime right, don't overextend my friend :D

Trust me my friend I'll consider that advice! I'm actually taking a week off in a couple of days. Right on time.
