Hi Friends!

Who spent 4 hours making a Steem video this morning? 🙋‍♀️😅

The Steem Onboarding team is excited to roll out the next video - How to Write your Introduction Post!! This video will be utilized in a super exciting, massive contest we will be launching later today. The contest will be a collaboration between @steemonboarding, @theycallmedan, and @ocd to help onboard new users to the platform. So stay tuned for that!

In the meantime while we are putting the finishing touches on the contest - I wanted to share with you the video I made to help support that contest. In this video, I coach people on how to make an awesome introduction post that actually gets noticed. I go over the benefits of why making an introduction post is so valuable, and the key components of a good one.

I hope you guys enjoy it!

Ps... If you are wondering how I get those awesome video transitions - I use Content Samurai to generate them. It's a super cool piece of software that uses AI to help create beautiful video content. You could create entire videos in the program - or use it like I do and slice some of the footage into your current videos to improve the look, feel, and organization.

Here's the Youtube link on the Steem Onboarding YT channel:

Love you guys and I hope you are all having a steemy day!

XO, Lea

Fantastic! Don’t ask me why it has taken me so long to learn about the Steem Onboarding Team but thanks to @mariannewest for bringing it to my attention!

I am really getting behind the welcoming committee that is growing on this blockchain and community. So well done.

Also, thanks for the intro to content samurai. I have a tab open and will look into that for my use.

I will resteem this as well.

Awesome all around!! Really cool to hear how involved you are getting in the welcoming committee and let me know if you have any questions on Content Samurai. :)

I have always believed that being welcoming and informative would make up for the shortcomings of the native onboarding. I have made a couple of these posts way back when but try and give some love to the people and posts being made now for the next wave of newcomers.

So damn busy with long weekend yard work I haven’t checked out CS yet but found myself thinking about it as I planted stuff.

This is so good! Totally makes me want to write a good introduction post!

Along with linking to your current social media accounts, it also to put your Steem account details in your social media account to prove that you're the same person... so adding your Steemit link into your Instagram bio (for example) really helps the groups that curate the introduction posts.

So good! So profesh!

oooh good idea on putting the steem link in the other social media handles. That's brilliant.

Thanks for your kind words on the video too!

Great video and info! I shared this one over on twitter. Hope things are going great for you and @maryjaney. Cheers!

aww thanks for the share Scott!! Mary and I are both doing great. Always lots of interesting things going on. :)

How are you my friend?

Good to hear! And cool new contest, good luck with that.

Things are going great. My health is pretty much back to normal. Now all we need is for it to stop snowing around here...

Thank you @coruscate. I am totally new to Steem and your video helped me understand how it works a bit more. I will take your advice to write an introduction post. Great video! I wanted to give you a thumbs up but it looks like my wallet needs to be loaded before. I need to get to speed on how everything works here :) Cheers!

That makes me so happy to hear!! I'm really glad you found this video helpful.

steemonboarding is a fantastic initiative, love the site 👍

Thanks so much for the love and support! ❤️

I enjoyed the video even being here for almost 2 years, maybe I should write an other introduction post depending on your tips. Really cool tips for newcomers. Thanks. ☺

Thanks so much @clixmoney! I'm glad you think they will be helpful for steem newbs! :)

@coruscate, Definitely Quality is vital and in my opinion Quality comes from the Authenticity.

Steem Blockchain is covered with diverisified communities and definitely there is opportunity for everyone and new people will be received warmly and with welcoming essence.

But in some cases to gain more Recognition new people reflect different mirror and by that i mean, they will not reflect who are they in real but introduce themselves who they are not, if anyone want to use this trick then, in this case Authenticity will going to miss and community can lose belief upon these kind of individuals.

So, most importantly let's put the real mirror and when people introduce themselves as real then real people will build long term relationships with them.

Super awesome idea! I wish there was something like this when I first joined!

Thanks for doing this! I hope this will help a lot of people starting out. I'll make sure to tag some people who still have to do an intro post.

@heliophoeli @kishan.ramsukul (@abigail.cns have you done one already?)

Sorry for the delay but I wanted to take time to see this as this is the most important factor that many often miss as an opportunity to get started (me included)! I have tried to get thoughts and gather them to what really entails a great introduction post but you have got a winner here! Thanks for the great information and your continued work on the @steemonboarding initiative!
