Did you ever read an "article" on a "reputable news site" that was so much like an advertisement that you had to double-check you weren't reading a press release? Well guess what? You probably were! Today James goes over a couple of examples of how Big Pharma and Big Agra ghostwrite articles to disguise PR as news.

Yeah, it's completely ridiculous that Doctors still play the game of "oh well if the drug sales rep hadn't bought me lunch then I wouldn't have known about x,y,z drug that said x,y,z pharmacopeia guinea pig patient." Never mind the obviousness of them constantly ghost writing for the medical industry, good video as always.
I think we are winning against them though by informing people and voting with our dollar.
They've made it simple by inverting the scientific process. They start with the conclusion they want and give grants to any "scientists" that provide the "studies" to back it up. They've even simplified the the studies... any findings that don't support the predetermined conclusion are thrown out as "inconclusive."

I was offered to ghostwrite for some asshole who wanted to offer me peanuts for it.
He said it was for Huffington Post, hence the link to my blog was good enough payment. Then he had the nerves to tell me that people offer him thousands for a linkback.
I think anyone who calls himself a writer and then outsource his writing are hypocrites.
It's always PR.
