I think legally from my research you can upload it to any social network no worries. Also there are different kind or search engine sites you can find lots of Creative Commons (Specifically for CC ) work that is good quality and you can reference it here. Also if you do voice over commentary similar to cinema sins on youtube it's considered a new work. TBH thats what this platform structure needs show formats like that one. I have only been here like a week but it's a lot of random videos with questionable content. And the rest is ripped videos from everywhere on the net. I think the most they can do is shut your channel down at least in the TOS they claim to be able to. I can see the allure to wanting to post 275k songs and movies and good yt content to dtube as well as audiobooks and the such. Mainly from the last 40 years there is no 1 central company to send DCMA takedown notice to and no one to censor your videos like youtube has been notorious for lately. It's honestly pretty hard to fight the urge especially if you don't care if you make money or not. So I can see why there is so much copyrighted material up especially if you live in a country where bootlegging is pretty much a way of life.
