Very interesting. It makes sense that it was so well protected if it was a consulate I guess. Maybe they were into clay pigeon shooting or something like that. If it was on a farm they could have been pheasant hunting. Who knows! I am surprised they didn't keep them to reload though.
That's a lot of pigeons, there were hundred of the shells... everywhere. It is rural so game is abundant.
Maybe they are just a horrible shot :)
