Thank you. Yes we did consider donkeys. However our research said they do not like any kind of dogs. We have a family dog so the donkeys would work. I agree about the fresh milk. We have our own family milk cow. Nothing better than a cold glass of raw milk

We really didn't train them. When they were puppies we just locked them in small pen with a few goats. As they got bigger we let them have bigger pen until about six months old then just let them out with herd. Mostly it was just instincts. Just make sure you get them from farm that parents are livestock guardians.
Great video. What breed of dog are they? My Dad has a neighbor that raises Alpaca and he has Great Pyrenees. Similar to yours perhaps?
