RE: Interview with @LLfarms // Everything You Need to Know About the Steem Alliance

in #dtube6 years ago

I honestly couldn't be happier that a group of well-informed Steemians are working on creating a foundation... the main benefit that a centralised system has over a decentralised one is that it can be more focused, instead of going out in all directions at all times... and I hope that the foundation can help focus the community, especially since there are so many opposing forces.

I got really worried when Justine initially started talking about stake-weighted voting, so I'm really thrilled that it's going to be capped stake-weighted votes instead. I do personally feel that a few of the higher staked accounts were achieved by right place, right time and us newer Steemians would struggle to ever raise the capital required to compete on a completely stake-weighted voting system... but of course, a lot of the larger staked accounts have a greater understanding of the technical side.

I loved the point that there is 'no perfect system'... and can't wait to see how this all unfolds.

So glad you enjoyed the interview!! I also think a capped stake weighted voting system is a pretty cool solution! Excited to see how this all plays out.
