Creating a creature
Here's a video of how I painted this little smart guy!
When painting creatures from imagination, I prefer to start out in black and white, shaping the creature as I go. I used a basic round brush with slightly ragged edges and added color by using Color and Overlay layers.
I worked in Photoshop CS5 using a Wacom Intuos3 tablet.
This must be one of my favorite characters. What do you think of him?
