DTUBE - Two MIT Lessons For Success - Reminder.
Hey Steemit and Dtube,
As I walk back with the bottles for Sammy, I took the time to quickly record a video about the two important lessons I re-learnt about success.
We had the privilege of having many different instructors, but these two reminded me very vividly of two lessons I learnt at MIT last year.
Firstly we met Adir, a lovely man from Israel now travelling the world. He set up two business's, one for training dogs, and the other training kids how to professionally snowboard. He was currently focusing on reminding Americans that they can travel easily and there was a big world out there to explore.
The thing that struck me was that both of his business's were designed to run without him, allowing him the freedom of time.
Our other instructor Ali from the UK used to be a professional jockey, and a very successful one at that. She was passionate about horses, and she was surrounded by passionate people but what set her apart was her work ethic. She worked harder than anyone in her group, and as a result was the most successful.
Passion is one thing, but without hard work it doesn't add up to much.
These lessons were hammered home to me again as I start the plan for the Adventurous Soul Tech Company here on Steemit and Dtube.
Lesson 1:
When setting up a business, make sure you set it up to one day run without you. Free yourself
Lesson 2:
Following your passion to success doesn't happen without a lot of hard work. Work harder than anyone around you.
It's time for more hard work :)
In our next video I take you around Tokyo Disney as we share with you the secret to beating the Buzz Lightyear ride :)
See you soon.
