It's a challenge, especially when we talk about marketing strategies. In this case I tried to invite @mini80, @lirvic and @bahrul to participate in the challenge “SEC-S20W3 | Business Ideas | Dev's Teaching Team | Marketing Strategies”.

As a teacher and want to run a business in the field of private lessons, as in the previous post. Then the support of customers is needed. Basically, this business is a very promising business in the midst of the limited level of learning ability of students from elementary school to college. Especially for math, physics and chemistry subjects which are indeed many students, especially from high school and university students.

So it takes customers who will come to use our services, because services in the field of private tutoring are needed. So we don't need to worry about thinking this business will stop. As long as there are students and college students, private tutoring can run well. It is impossible to close by itself, especially since we provide excellent service.

There is no term that makes us not successful or successful in business as long as we run it as well as possible. And support from students who really need our help. We can disguise ourselves as elementary school students who need help in the field of Mathematics. Because many students do experience problems in this subject area. But we do not forget that the first grade of elementary school also needs our services, especially those who have problems in reading, counting and writing.

Professional hiring, if any

This business requires professionals. And of course we will recruit professionals to support this business to run well and of course we want success. So with the capital we have, I am a teacher who graduated from education in the field of mathematics, while my wife is a finance graduate. So here I will recruit marketing personnel, maybe the question will arise, why recruit marketing personnel?. This labor is needed to do marketing about businesses engaged in services.

As for other professionals, I will recruit people who have abilities in certain fields, of course according to the abilities they have. Or in other words, we will recruit people who have the view that he will work as much as possible in the business we run. Here we prioritize the ability to teach people who have problems in learning.

Basically, we will recruit teachers or graduates of education-based colleges. However, it is not impossible that we will also recruit outside the education profession. This is based on the fact that they have a vision that wants to serve as professional personnel who provide learning for private tutoring service users.

In essence, we will recruit people who are willing to provide the best for their service users. With high dedication, to make the ability to do a job professionally.

In this case, it was certainly an expansion that was planned from the start. To be the best and be able to spread its wings not only in small cities. But will try to open branches in other cities. Of course, I will open another branch in a city with more educational institutions than the city where I live.

In this case, I will use marketing personnel to see the potential to develop business in other cities. By using professionals, of course, the business I run will be able to open branches in other places.

Proper planning will make this business able to compete with other parties who are also engaged in this business. Whatever we do we must prioritize a large market share, so that our business can run according to the expectations we want to achieve. Without good planning, it will make our business unable to expand its wings.

When this planning can run well, then the business that we started from small will become big. By prioritizing the best service we provide for users of our private tutoring services. And of course we also don't forget to have discussions with the people involved in the business we run.

Aggressive or soft marketing strategies

I'll use variations of both. Namely with action or in other words aggressive. This is of course by going directly into the field where the target is located, for example by visiting schools that have many interested people. Don't forget to distribute brochures to other schools, even if you believe that there will be no interest in taking private lessons.

Everything must be planned in advance with the team. Even for universities, we will also do the same thing, but here we distribute brochures and don't forget to provide guidance about the private tutoring potential that we have. In essence, we do this by prioritizing an approach towards them. With the enthusiasm that we have, that sooner or later they will use our services.

Meanwhile, in a soft way we will use social media. This requires a lot of followers and gives them a surprise if they succeed in recruiting people to use our services. This is the experience I got when my son took lessons at two different institutions, before and after graduating to a university with very tight competition.

For this promotion, we will do it using various media, such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Tik-Tok, Telegram and other social media. Especially students who are active on various social media.With the spirit that what we do is a good way to get what we are looking for. they get knowledge, we get income.
