First, this is a great song that we had fun messing around with for this battle.
It was 1994, spent the summer listening to Sound Garden. I had a very memorable weekend in Barrie at an amazing concert with friends that I still hang with in the studio today. I smile every time I hear this song.
Downloaded the song into Cubase and started. Of coarse we had to listen to it 19 times and get primed.
Using A# Major key and A# melodic minor scale. Redid the base line and percussion. Then dropped the song and created something of our own.

hehe so there goes that idea. the track was on my list of candidates, glad I didn't start, and chose some other track. Else we would have two BHS's now.
While the popularity of it may come as a slight disadvantage for such a strong remix shuffle (people expecting the regular track to continue), you have made a unique piece of remixing here. Got into your version a lot once I got with it and dropped my memories of the regular.

Yes you're right about the lyrics, how much do you leave. I kept wanting to hear more as well. But we really enjoyed playing with different beats and decided to just keep a few reconizable lyrics.

Like what you did with that Soundgarden tune, now the sound is more befitting the title, a lot more spacier than the original. I entered something related to space, also, so I thought it'd be pertinent to check out your offering, glad I did ... My SETI radio telescopes definitely need to map out blackholes... ;-)
