That's me ... There are many elements of EDM that take me back to my roots which were definitely heavily influenced by the early Berlin School of electronic music... I am just starting to reconcile my love for dancing, (but oddly), a disdain for disco ... there really needs to be something interesting on top of the steady kick drum for me to appreciate the work on a whole. But indeed I see what your saying, something there reaching out to me, to 'make my own' as they say ...
Yes indeed, something has to be happening siding to a kick and the hats, either impeccable production or a new sound and original style
... that's our cue ! ;-)
