It's great to know there are some good people working for the state. Few and far between though the ones who actually have an influence 💯🐒

I think the importance of local government is often forgotten, especially in America when the state and federal government catch all of the press coverage.

It's one of the reasons I still subscribe to my local newspaper. I think it's important to be involved and stay up to date.

This interview was very informative, and I had a great time learning about Susan's experiences. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. I really appreciate it!

Yes I can see that but think the local government in the UK doesn't not have power it is just a face. A shame as I think it could really make a difference, there are some great councillors. Problem is there are so many departments and hierarchies it's just to complex for any thing to work. When it does the government just overrules anything they don't like, they literally change the laws to take the councils power away. 💯🐒

Great to see that your podcast is still going strong! It's still on my playlist... but I'm way way way back on podcast listening... I think I'm in November still....
