This reminded me a lot of Lewis Howes’ book ‘Mask of Masculinity’ which explores the various ways in which modern masculinity shapes and mounds itself as a result of external factors and perceived notions of what it is that constitutes “being a man” in today’s society.

Like his work, your discussion surrounding men in relationships took a refreshingly unique perspective. I was engaged regarding the concept of abuse as it’s something, again, not often associated with masculinity and often times portrayed as being an issue that only affects women in relationships.
