Time-sovereign
Bone upon bone o'er parchmented forearms,
Tine-crinkled time melts in whirlpools of stone.
Flail over flail of wings pull not, they feel not;
Lulled into infancy, held by a moan.
How could I dare to breathe millstones and horseshoes;
Fences and progenies left to the rain.
How could I stand to hold mildew and curds?
Scripture, uncertainty, left to disdain.
Flown from cold adequate, hurled from the meadow,
How could I cope with the fickle absurd?
Here do I dare,
Dare a dream of dun loftiness?
Spun-round the finger,
Ringed, fervent
and mad.
How shall I care,
In the course of atoning,
If you should turn, just so,
and meet my eye?
Aloning do I
hover on waste
Waiting for only
the merest flick
For mortal tongue
to take its taste:
The clock
to tick.

Very nice music. The first time I listen to poetry music. Very nice to combine poetry and music.

It's really beautiful what you write I always like to read what you write
D-pend you always inspire me when I read your writing.
Very well spoken @d-pend. I feel like I'm in a hotel lobby with a grand piano chiming out the moments of time.
This is perfect:
Written and spoken with humility. Time captured well... and your voice too now locked into time held for generations although ephemeral the charm will live on forever.
