ReddCoin (RDD)
ReddCoin has been around since 2014 and aims to become the social currency because of its focus on tipping on different social media sites.
You can tip users and content creators on mainstream social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube with cryptocurrency with ReddCoin.
It uses a new consensus mechanism called Proof of Stake Velocity (PoSV) which combines coin-aging functions to encourage velocity of the currency in a way that also encourages ownership through staking (called minting with ReddCoin).
Is the new integration into Minecraft where you can mine ReddCoin while playing Minecraft driving the price up?

OmiseGO (OMG)
OmiseGO is a blockchain movement that focuses on helping those without bank accounts to be able to transact and have access to "banking features."
It allows for the transfer of fiat, cryptocurrency, and digital assets through a decentralized chain based on the Ethereum blockchain.
They are focusing on the 73% of Southeast Asia that does not have access to traditional banking. As a result they just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of Thailand to develop a nationwide payment and digital identity system built on the OmiseGO network.

Nice to learn about those two coins, reddcoin sounds amazing in that it can be used across many platforms including gaming. But its OMG that caught my attention, I too think the lack of scalabilty on the ETH blockchain may make them go with NEO or EOS. The problem of banking the un banked is not only in Asia but here in Africa too. So we might see more OMG like coins coming up in this region too, probably built on EOS since I heard it's like ETH on steriods,scalable and can't be crushed by things like crypto kitties. Time will tell but the future looks amazing.Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed listening to this :)
Ayyyy appreciate your thoughtful and in depth comment. That is a very valid point about Africa there is so many unbanked that a movement like OMG on the right platform like NEO or EOS can really do a lot of good.
Excited for EOS as well so that these crypto projects can finally be unleashed to their maximum potential.

That was freaking amazing. I am super proud that I have reached a level of understanding about ETH seeing its issues for the future and you have confirmed it for me yet again. I love this format, finally some morning podcast for me that is RELEVANT. So much stuff online has become rather meaningless lately^^. Guess we'll have that cup together from now on, thousands of miles apart ahahah. I really gotta go back for the full series, missed most crypto n coffee lately because of stuff going on in my life. It's solved though, more focus towards crypto and building the tribe. Thanks for all this info chief!
