The government will never allow flying cars, then the need for roads goes away and thats half the reason they use to justify taxes.... Schools and roads...

Enabling a flying car to fly from your home to your work place or grocery store might be possible after another 40 years or more. That will ensure that flying cars ultimately only exist as a curiosity among flying hobbyists and the ultra-rich.
