Coordination Idea
The idea is to develop the coordination through the "form of any rudiment". To clarify this concept you could take, as in the picture, a paradiddle and a double paradiddle and split between hand and foot.
It's a way to make less boring the study of rudiments and, obviously, a way to develop them!
