Remarkably unremarkable

I got a bit down when I read coincidences are something that is a remarkable concurrence, which would mean I have never experienced coincidence and my life is a lie.

Luckily as with most words, there is more than one interpretation, and a person can mostly make it mean what you want if you only have a vague idea of what a word means. If that makes no sense then think of how the bible gets quoted so often, make sense now?

Anyway, so the second one is the one I knew I have had the pleasure of encountering and enjoy the fact that I can make it seem even less important by saying something like. "Mere coincidence."

I like that, or "just", "my mom was born the same day as Princess Diana."

"Oh! and she died the same day?"

"No but in the same way."

"Car accident?"

"No, cardiac arrest during surgery."

Coincidence can be seen as oh that is nice, or cool I will recall this over a beer at the pub.

It can also be an indicator of something underhanded and deprived, something that runs so deep in our society that you won't know who to trust.

Enter Exhibit A

It is closing time and the whole day has been quiet, this screecher comes rushing through the doors and immediately needs to print things for their walking parasites school project. The machines are off and everyone wants to just go home after a pathetic day of Facebook and coffee but dawdled a bit long and the shop happens to be open quite a bit past normal.

Enter Exhibit B

You are extremely busy doing actual work for a change and the morning started out just fine, few people, quick jobs. Nice you get to at least focus on getting things done, no pesky skin suits bothering you out of the norm. Getting into the zone it is all just perfect, quieting down as though people know that dude is getting shit done.

Then, they all come rushing in, not a single one able to communicate anything properly and all needing things right now, dead photo of granny to print, pair of idiots needing help figuring out what camera to buy with very strong opinions on what not to buy, more fucktards streaming in and after 10sec looking as though the world has offended them.

Coincidence?
