DJI Mavic Pro - Drone Review

DJI is a small company located in China that has over the years developed a strong influence in the drone market. They became known for their long-ranged signal and extraordinary builded-in sport cameras. The DJI's administration says that this multirotor brings a revolution in the drone world. And it seams that they are right about that. Today this drone is one of the best you can buy on the market and it has a great price/quality ratio. It can be used in professional purposes and It's not ashamed of any too much expensive multirotor.

In It's compact form It's very tiny and its just folds out It's legs and then you have a full sized drone ready to fly. It is one of the best features this drone has because you can carry it everywhere you go.

The controller is a futuristic looking compact gadget with a tiny screen where you can see your battery status, signal strenght, and many other things. Also you can attach your smartphone to it, and use it to have a view from the camera all the time within an app. Then you have the abilities to focus by taping on the screen, adjusting manually video quality, wich can by the way recond in 4K resolution, automatic take-off mode, follow mode and much more.

It has obstacle avoiding. So if you are flying toward something you shouldn't it will notice it and stop before you hit something or someone, same goes for under the drone. And if you lose the connection between the controller and the drone it will automatically return to the original take-off spot. You can choose between diffrent flying mods such as Normal and Sport, all depending for what his purpose is. He can do several tricks and it has a "follow me mode" in wich he is circling around you or just following you for example in your car, bike or similiar. It is extremly easy to control it, and while in the air without you controling it, it maintains the height so it won't move a inch. And you can change the camera angle while in the air. The only thing that people could not like is that it has not a wide angle lens like GoPro has. But that shouldn't be a big problem because it still takes extraordinary magnificent pictures.

Personally, after some time researching models of drones all over internet, their good and bad sides, I came to the conclusion that this is my favorite drone at this time on the market. Also I saw that few people had problems with their controllers, but if you plan to buy this one don't worry. After reporting the problem they all got a new controller and a drone, so that shouldn't problem. I love the design and the ability to literally pack it in your pocket. The range distance amazes me, and my personal favorite about it is the "following mode".
