Drawing Challenge #2 Sunny daisies. drawing step-by-step
For this contest, I decided to use watercolor pencils. For me, this is a new material and I have not yet fully understood the technique of drawing with watercolor pencils. This work I decided to partially leave a pencil, and partly use the watercolor effect. In my opinion, it turned out very well!
Sunny daisies on a sunny day!
and step-by-step process
first lines:
choosing colors for a background
correcting of the colors of the background + add some details
more details for a flowers in the dark spots
the best moment of this art -using a water for aquarelle efect
last touch and signature
and it´s ready!!!

I find it is a good drawing even though you are just beginning to explore this technique. I think you are on the good way to improve, just keep drawing with watercolor pencils and you will discover new things on the way. And the best part, as you learn by practicing on your own, is that you will end finding your own personal watercolor pencils technique! That is the best thing as your drawings will have personality and unique style. At the end, drawing isn't really about technique, it is about expressing yourself. The biggest painters of history were those who dare to show themselves truly through their painting style, becoming a reference: da Vinci with his sfumato, Rembrandt, Picasso, van Gogh (one of my favorites)...
