very nice piccar, scrawly !!!!

as for the tale, i guess it's like preparing 1001 posts on steemit to continuously engage the unpredictable 'lover' (aka the mass)... XD;;;;;;;

by the 1001th post, i hope the mass has gotten to love the bloggy????

:thinking emoji:

....

man, im so awesome with that steemit analogy pats self on back

beautiful post, @scrawly ! i love it <3 <3 <3 <3

Yes, that is the reason why I admire her so much. I don't think I can entertain an audience for 1000 night straight, without any break ever, that must be very exhausting ^^;.

By the 1001th post, the mass will either love the blogger, or mute them! XD XD

Thank you for such a lovely comment, spider :).

what a wise way to approach the situation, but I'm glad it concludes to a happy ending <3 And the art is gorgeous, suits the characteristic of the Queen , lovely @scrawly

It is certainly the smart way to approach the situation, though I prefer if she stabs him and gets away with murder. Alas, it's not that kind of story.

Thanks Adelair :).

Oh, fairytales... always so kind and not violent towards women, right?

Yes, women always get the best treatment in fairytales.

;)

Actually even right now, I believe Hollywood only makes 10% of their movies with women as leading actors... we still have a long way to go to equality.

Hmm. Sad she had to fuck some idiot 1001 times! It still amazes me that girl's/women's virginity is such a prized possession (more so in some places that others), yet no one in society gives a shit about boy's virginity. Why??? Cos let's face it, virginity is shit. Get rid of it ASAP I say so you can start having the good sex!

Yeeeeppp. Whenever I listen about stories of old time, folklore and history alike, I'm always grateful that I'm born in the modern time. Though even now there are still a lot of hardships if we're born at some unfortunate places.

When she's telling the story, thankfully they didn't have any time to do anything else so ... at least only after he fell in love with her that they shared bed together. Still, I think he deserves to be visited by an iron maiden instead of getting a very intelligent and charismatic woman as his wife.

Hahahaha. I would love to see that picture.

Dear Artzonian, thanks for using the #ArtzOne hashtag. Your work is valuable to the @ArtzOne community. Quote of the week: Art, freedom and creativity will change society faster than politics. -Victor Pinchuk

A very fitting subject, I've always loved the story, and a great rendition of the lady herself. I like the rust/red colour you used as well.

I also love her because I think it would be the best thing ever to have someone telling me an exciting story every night :D.
Thanks Donna ^_^.

What a lovely drawing! Beautiful work, @scrawly! Congratulations! 😃

I am glad you like it, thank you trincowski :D.

This is amazing art ... Love everything on her, and the story was familar to me, and I also compared it now to blogging. I hope I can write 1001 blogs, and entertain people with my blogs, but without the pressure Sherezade had ... she had to entertain for her life. And marrying after 1001 story's ... I don't think I ever would. I would walk away and leave him broken ...

I wish she would leave him too because he's not a good man unlike most men in other fairytales. Maybe if Disney ever make their own version, they would make it better, I hope so because I usually prefer their version than the original folklore ^^.

You've been here since last December, so it means a few more years until you can write 1001 blogs. I'm sure you can do it as long as you persevere, hetty :).

Thank you :D.

It is a beautiful story @scrawly. Bravery has been the personality trait of a woman since the beginning. By the way, what does Scheharzaad mean? In our urdu, we write it as SHEHAR-E-ZAAT.

I don't know its meaning even in urdu.

I have to consult Wikipedia to give you an answer ^^.

According to modern scholarship, the name Scheherazade derives from the Middle Persian name Čehrāzād, which is composed of the words čehr (lineage) and āzād (noble, exalted).
The earliest forms of Scheherazade's name in Arabic sources include Shirazad (شيرازاد Šīrāzād) in Masudi, and Shahrazad (شهرازاد Šahrāzād) in Ibn al-Nadim, the latter meaning in New Persian "the person whose realm/dominion (شهر šahr) is free (آزاد āzād)". It is shortened as "Shahrzad" (شهرزاد Šahrzād/Šarzād) in modern Persian.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it a lot :).
