i like her expression here, scrawler :D she has that spunky little smile, that shows that she's not afraid to be her own hero and have her own adventures :D the pose is also nice, i really like the arm that lifts up the bulk of her hair, it's kinda like a showy off pose.... means she is actually pretty proud of her super strong hair XD

I've been growing my own hair, not for any reason, only haven't felt like going to a stylist of late. It gets longer, I braid it to keep it out of the way, I wonder how long I could let it grow ?
That's funny because I forget that people associate me with that. I did once have jetblack hair with severe fringe and short bob. I know have long blonde hair, oh well. I suppose I should change it around, but I've got used to that little icon. I'm assuming you don't have a red face and black hair, but maybe you do? ;) If you do I want to see that photo! :)
Yea, I want to draw a Rapunzel who is not helplessly waiting for her prince charming. And in the cartoon, she's often shown barefooted, I think that's kinda cute also because they don't show her with dainty feet :D.
I like your commentary on this. Plus how do you even grow hair that long? Or wash it? It always looks so clean, but I bet it's not cos it would be dragging around on the floor each day and take about 5 hours to wash! And it would be massively heavy. So the weight of a person + her hair + hanging out the window would equal broken neck and/or her falling. Bah! The story is totally implausible.
Yeeep. A lot of folklore are really head scratching material. And long dirty hair is truly nightmare material, you know what I mean if you like watching Asian horror movies, all those ghost women have long dirty hair XD.

I remembered when I was young I got mini heart attack when I first discovered this folklore, actually all the disney story endings are way different from the real ending.
I can only recall rapunzel, cinderella and Little mermaid. It was jaw-dropping moment. I even dreamed about falling in the tower and going blind. I was really traumatized hahahhah I wasn't ready to know the truth XD
Ohhh a nightmare about falling and going blind? That sounds scary. I fall all the time in my dream, but my brain is not creative enough to dream of me being blind XD.
It was because i learned that the prince from rapunzel originaly fell from the tower ang got blind. Creepy it's like my soul just went inside the story hihi..

She must get a sore neck too to drag all that hair around. Imagine how heavy it is when it is wet from washing? I would hate to know how long it takes her to wash and dry her hair.

Yes, that's right sojuchan. More and more I realise Rapunzel is better fitted to a horror story instead of kiddies cartoon XD.
