Wild and free
“Inspiration is for amateurs — the rest of us just show up and get to work. And the belief that things will grow out of the activity itself and that you will, through work, bump into other possibilities and kick open other doors that you would never have dreamt of if you were just sitting around looking for a great ‘art idea’.” - Chuck Close
Zero patience wolf baby
I’ve been sick for past few days. I feel as if it is huge setback for my physical goals since I’ve not been able to leave my bed and feel extremely weak. I know, I know. I should not get frustrated because of it, the energy will come back, but I want to run wild and free and I want it now.

As frustrating as it can be being sick, medicine is not always the first thing I reach for whenever I get some silly virus [that effectively puts me out of business, dammit]. I boil huge pot of water, throw in all kinds of herbal teas [some I gather myself from meadows during summer time and my own garden like red clover, yarrow, alchemilla, peppermint, chamomile and some I pick up in pharmacy like Icelandic moss tea that is a lifesaver when you have heavy cough], add some natural honey, lemon and ginger, and drink cup after cup to cleanse the body and sweat it out.
What are your recipes for getting back on your feet?
If you use a little bit of your imagination do you see the water lily on the lake instead?

oh beautiful post with the wolf. I really love it. You got yourself a new fan girl :)
@karensuestudios Thank you! I have never had a fan girl in my life. So cool. :)
How about fan boys
I hope you're feeling much better now
get well soon
I just take tea too - ginger, garlic + licorice just to get rid of the garlic smell
and eat at least 2 onions to rid the virus - I just mix it with 2 roma tomatoes, 1 tbsp fermented soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp rice vinegar - keeps the appetite and the tastebuds up
am not a doctor - this I just learned from my grandparents
they've never let me take meds nor pills for fever and colds
only when i had asthma
I was also ill for a few days, must have been the change in weather
stay warm and keep your artpost with the hedgehogs coming
it's why I actually dropped by :)
but hey, that wolf up there is pretty much expressive, too
the hedgehog is so cute - I hope you make more
I hear Riga Black Balsam helps.
Haha! You made me laugh @kaizencrrr! Thank you! Riga Black Balsam is great and helpful indeed. :)
Thank You for providing me the pleasure to make you laugh ^ _ ^
Love the soft, fuzzy look and the wolf cub's expression :)
My voting power's all shot to pieces, but I'm sending a bot vote your way soon!
I think the herbal teas are a great idea. I rarely drink, but when I'm sick, it can help ease the suffering and help me sleep better... For some reason when I'm sick, I'm often wide awake, it's frustrating.
Take care!
Awww! Thank you for all the support @overkilllcoin! :)
Yes, I was struggling with sleeping as well. Today I actually feel like human again.
I tend to sleep all kinds of crazy hours lately, but I'm getting a lot done it seems, so it's OK...
I want to cuddle with the wolf pup! love the soft look of it. One of my favorites of yours so far!
For getting back on my feet when I am sick I do lot of whining and complaining :) not sure it works but hey I try it!
I want cuddle with wolf pup too! ❤
Thank you so much for all the support @steemitadventure!
I actually had to keep my mouth shot a lot, because I get extra emotional and I whine a lot as well. Hehe.

Thank you @steeminator3000! :)
copious amounts of tea and sleep. Give your body rest and hydration. Hope you're better soon!
Thank you @val.halla! I think the teas actually helped ^^
Didnt knew about your situation, sorry to hear it >.<.
What gets me back up is the idea of rebuilding my life from the hell i have been through and going beyond PLUS ULTRA!!!
And yes i see the lily on the lake if i use my imagination ^^.
Aw! Thank you @josanuavir! I hear you! ^^
Now I can't see anything else in that picture, but the water lily.
Btw, how you doin'? Hehe
Cub wolf did it for me. Sickness is for the weak (at least so said the ignorant), I drink tea when I am under the weather, and meditate a lot.
@drone007 Hehe. I thought that with all the running some silly virus will not be able to kick my ass, but I was wrong. Now I feel like total weakling. Yes.
