How many bad drawings do you create before the good ones appear?:)
Yesterday I was cleaning my workshop. In this process I always end up with a huge packet of different paper to burn - old sketches.
So, this is a pack of sketches I did this year:
The mouse is for scale. Sometimes the pack is bigger of smaller, but in general like this. Sketching every day is really important for artistic growth. Luckily I don't have to burn digital ones. I took some pictures of pages, just for memory:
There's a quote that says that inside every artist there's a 1000 of bad drawings, and they block the way for the good ones. And only after you release them the good ones can appear. I'm on my way;)

Don't throw them awayyyyyy. Give them away... I would never throw my drawings away. They are like my kids, my creations,..those poor things. Yeah I know, I am silly. But that's how I feel about them. I would rather give them a new home and paint a smile on the face of one of my friends. ..just sayin. ..
I don't throw away, I burn:) And yes, I keep the drawings cause I sell them after all. But not the sketches.
I do maybe six to ten bad sketches before I get something that I like.
I meant in general:) But I do the same:)
I think that there are no bad drawings.

I know what you mean. I wanted to go further to say: Art becomes Art in the eye of the beholder. Art is a definition. If you find a drawing bad, someone will find it great.

I don't think your drawings are bad I think they're developing. You're like writers. In the beginning they have a style and that style develops. Thanks for sharing keep up the great work
I'm not saying they're bad. I said that these are sketchbooks ;)
I have a cheap sketchbook for making the worst drawings I can possibly do :) the idea is to loosen my hand in it before trying to make something better. I would say I make at least 10 bad drawings and sketches until I make one that I feel I like hehehe But it doesn't mean other people would find my "good" drawing good, quite the contrary lol

My problem is that I am so critical on myself when I create something. I try to be a perfectionist and drive myself crazy doing it but I guess that part of it. I know what your saying.
I was like that, but glad that I'm not anymore. It really just 'ate' my energy. So now I feel better just focusing on process instead of focusing on a result;)
