Goku Has a New Form [Ultra Instinct] [Dragon Ball Super]

Goku has new form in Drangon Ball Super and MMG has you covered! We're going to mention some familiar names in Dragon Ball Super that we'll assume you know by now, nothing to crazy, but just a heads up. This isn't a dive into Super and it's characters. This is solely about Goku's latest form. The new form is called, Ultra Instinct. The Japanese name for the new form is “Migatte no Gokui”, which means, “The Key of Egoism”.

About Ultra Instinct

Earlier in the series, we've seen both Whis and Beerus using this form. Whis even used it against Goku in those early episodes. When speaking about the form to Goku and Vegeta, he tells the Z warriors this:

“You two are still thinking before you move rather than just moving. I’m afraid this habit is especially strong with you Vegeta. This overthinking is limiting your fighting speed. Messages can only travel through your nervous system so fast. When you rely on thoughts for physical action, you lose precious fighting time. Your end goal should be to master having each part of your body think and move independently of the other parts. This is exceedingly difficult. In fact, not even Lord Beerus has mastered it and he’s a god. If you overcome the learning curve, you’ll be able to avoid any danger however severe.”

Goku Vs Jiren

In the latest episode of Dragon Ball Super, episode 110, Goku unlocks this new form during battle with Jiren.

If you've somehow missed all the hype about Jiren, here's a quick wrap-up. The man...thing, is so strong that he pushed back a spirit bomb that he sat and let Goku build up. Goku gathered powers from Gohan, Piccalo, The Androids, and Frieza (Vegeta decided he wouldn't help). Regardless, the Jiren didn't move. That's pretty damn strong. Thus far he's made Super Saiyan Blue and KaiokenX20 look like childs-play, but with this new form, it seems Goku may actually stand a chance.

Unfortunately, like with all new forms, Goku isn't able to hold it very long, and the battle turns in favor of Jiren again. However, as Goku continues to develop this new form and Master it, fans feel certain that he'll be able to best Jiren.

Goku's new for offers the ability to act instantly. It's basically an Instant Transmission that's so fast you don't have to think about it. Which is perfect for Goku, because one reason that Jiren has been kicking so much butt is because of his telepathic powers. Yep, dude reads minds too! Well, with this new form Goku's movement is so fast that not even a telepathy can keep up with it. Now, Goku's biggest obstacle is the same thing that's been hindering men of his age for a millennia, stamina.
