RE: What Do You Think About These Disturbing Things Regarding YouTube Trending Videos Revealed By This Analysis?

- It's A Result Of PC Culture and Combating "Fake News"
To be fair, there were multiple different answers that would be right to the question you asked, but my two closest ones were PC culture and power consolidation. These two things actually aren't disparate things, but interconnected in many ways. This is because to combat "fake news" as the 4th estate sees it, requires removing the influences of alternative and independent news sources. This serves both the PC SJW cause and the overall attempt to consolidate power around established news outlets and their parent corporations. In some ways it's also both a conspiracy and bias, as one easily begets the others.
Here's another example not mentioned in the video, where is @rt-international on there? They have the most views for any news outlet on YouTube, totaling in the billions, yet they seem to be utterly absent from the trending results. I'd be curious to see if they show up in the trending data for other countries, as that would mean that they were being hampered here in the states artificially, most likely by human moderators.
Course, the other correct answer on here is... don't bother with the trending results. I certainly don't, I only look at my subscriber feed, which is itself biased in how it shows content.
The research for this video was excellent, and I think the guys who did that should be personally recognized for the work they put into lifting the veil on the rather shadowy way in which YouTube picks winners and losers.
Good portion of USA hates @rt-international and they are real journalists by choice or by adapting to compete with mainstream darlings like CNN. The behavior of YouTube and mainstream has been like this for years. Here is a video from almost 4 years ago:
