Technically I created my account at the beginning part of Gen 1. But I didn't really do anything with it or start participating at all until late in Gen 2.
I came in on the wave of @jerrybanfield which is visible on the chart at the links post. I think he got about 10K of us in here in June/July of 2017. Most are not active and I am proud to be one who has stuck it out through thick and thin since then.
The most of all three generations are gone now. I feel like we are tree rings. We have summer and winter seasons. We grow in summer and shed in winter. After the full cycle, there is a solid core that isn't going anywhere, upon which the new growth happens in the next cycle.
What a great way to put it. I try to stay consistent no matter the price, the date, the holiday, the weekend, or anything else. I have a few friends here like me. We just keep posting and interacting no matter what. We are here to help ourselves and newcomers, and welcome back those who stray. This is not an easy place, but well worth the effort to me :)
We fell in love with #Steemit during the 2018 bear market; powering up while price was falling. Although we found it harder to become minnows we kept steeming on.
A testament to $steem longevity, we're truly in it for the community, platform and #MassAdoption
