Every time her body and face you hit

She is not your gym spot where you test if you are fit
I am sure if you pitch yourself against another guy you will sit
So why would you betray her love and her affections jilt?
You feel so proud hitting her and you are even fully kit
Your once adorable heart, now you ran ragged, far from being neat
Her heart you have shattered and one day, your match you will meet
This is a very big issue: domestic violence. It eats more and deeper into our system and society and so many people have been a victim and lost their lives to it.
I know the thoughts on your mind, some ladies beat guys too, they test so many of the guy’s patience level too much. Yes, I know that, and I will address it in the next post. More of the attention is on the guys, and that is because we are expected to do better than them. We are expected to protect and love. We are expected to handle our emotions better. Regardless of what the lady has done, if anyone walks up to the scene, they will definitely blame the guy because they would believe he used his strength to full throttle because he knows the lady cannot match him.
Sometimes they test us, most times they frustrate us, hahaha, and it is better to just walk away. Yes, every time, just walk away. It is a tactic that has worked over time, but if that doesn’t work for you, with every single impulse in you, just refrain from doing the expected.
Every guy needs a little level of emotional restraint. See them at the gym where you work out your level of patience, and it gets better over time that you grow more thick skin.
I recently heard the story of a guy who got slapped twice at an ATM stand by a lady. The lady came late to the ATM point and still claimed she was there before a guy that she obviously met there. The guy said, “If you are the one the devil wants to use for me today, it won’t work, because I know all of us will definitely withdraw from this ATM point”, and the guy shifted as he allowed her to take up space before him. The lady dared the guy to repeat it, and the guy did, down came the double-crested slap. Haha.
According to the guy, he thought about his mom, his sisters, and also his cousins staying in their house, and he walked away, even without withdrawing from the ATM point anymore. Everyone expected him to beat her to a pulp, but he took the high road and walked away.
As you can see, this is so hard for him to do. I admit it is too hard not to react in this scenario. I learned from it, just take a walk. Your ego that would be bruised at that moment doesn’t pay any bills, does it? Don’t do it.

Although psychological abuse can be harder to define than overt physical abuse, it has been found to cause at least as much damage. Victims of intimate partner violence are vulnerable to developing depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders. Domestic abuse in any form being it sexual abuse, financial abuse whatever form it may be should be completely avoided cause, in the end, it not only affects the victim but the society also. There are several professional counselors in place to help each and everyone going through a tough time.

This title really catches my attention, I was like what does it even mean, yes I get the message, domestic violence, that is really bad and doesn't speak well of us as human whether you are a man or woman, we really have to shun domestic violence and always embrace peace no matter how hard it might seems.
Right from the beginning, woman are said to be the weaker sex, men are to love, respect, care and cater for their needs always, in the Bible woman is found as part of man, they are our helping and not slave and we must treat them with the respect they deserve always. If man bully his wife he is said to be animal. Though lady sometimes might want you to misbehave with their attitude and behavior but always take her like someone weaker in aspects of life.
This has been the other of the day in our society most especially Africans society where man hold the absolutely superiority over woman, they are like a property to man, man treated them as inferior to them which actually aid bully them whenever there is little so arguments.
Some ladies are devil in disguise like seriously, we have more of them in our society today, they will be the one to first attack on little thing that doesn't ever required harsh approach, I guess that is woman nature anyway, some of them are easily prone to be offended. But no matter what, men must behave and exhibit maturing and let go of pride by walking away that moment the deed is still fresh, since we can always get to them later.

some cases we encounter men think women are weak, worthless, but if we consider the woman is one of the people who have given birth to us into this world I think that assumption and cruelty to women will disappear, I consider the figure of man as my father and sibling , therefore I can love them all though not the person who raised me like a father.

The problem of domestic violence emanated when the man want the woman to reason and behave like men, the same way women want the man to understand and treat them with care forgetting the gender differences. We are different for a reason, to compliment and not to compete
We should all embrace the fact that we don't have the same background. So, we must learn to accommodate one another.
Look at the man in your story, he is a good example to be followed by all men. I'm sure the woman will feel like a fool.. Lol
I read the story of another man on Linda ikeji's blog last year, where a woman slapped a man in a gym house. The man was with all the six packs you can imagine, but the man refused to raise his hand as well, if he should do anything with all those muscles, I'm sure the lady will land in hospital... Lol
But, he chose to be calm, and he was honored in return, the lady was weeping without been beaten.
These are the great examples to follow when dealing with women, not the one from the monsters... Lol

Some men are said to be more aggressive Domestic violence is an act of intimidation, physical, verbal or emotional abuse that has become an epidemic. Domestic violence is not new to the Nigerian society. Often, we have woken up to read of murder and violence. Domestic violence happens across all sectors of society. It cuts across the educated and the illiterate, the religious and the freethinkers, classes of career women and stay-at-home wives, the married and the single as well as all ages.
In local communities, domestic violence is mostly perceived as what is due to women who nag, disobey or want to take over the seat of authority from the man, who is always revered as the head of the house. It is also known as a “therapy through which a man can conveniently vent his anger or frustration on a ‘lesser being’ who is his wife or children”. Many women now believe that physical abuse is most times justified.
