Weekly Top 20 Domain Name Sales - Week 30
Week of 03/11/19 to 03/17/19
Back with the list... another week in the books. Looks like there were some interesting domains sold this past week. A lot of .com domains. I see a few that just don't make sense to me as an investor but maybe these went to people with a plan to develop. It's got to be that or good domains are getting so scarce people are overpaying for the lesser quality names! Kind of makes me think of some of the recent free agent signings I've seen the last week in the NFL. Every year some team is willing to overpay average or sometimes below average talent simply because of scarcity at certain positions. Let's learn from that!
Anyway, here's the Top 20 Domain Name Sales for last week that have been recorded by namebio.com

About the Names
I'm going to skip going over the history today and move right along to my opinion and thoughts on the list.
Today's list was dominated by .com taking all 19 of the 20 spots with .org grabbing one of spot. Not much of a surprise here, but it's worth noting that .com still owns the top sales pretty much week in and week out. Even when there are other extensions grabbing spots, .com always takes the most.
Looking at the list my favorites are kidstube.com, policylab.com, and growstone.com. I also like the 4 letter (LLLL.com) domains simply because they're short and pronounceable. I really like gank.com on a personal level because it's funny to me but I would hesitate to buy it as an investment. I don't know if there's a lot of people wanting to start a business called, "Gank" but I suppose it could be anything!
