More emphasis on home-grown energy would help in a 100 ways. It would improve stability, quality of life, and of course, reduce dependence on other countries (and in turn, mucking up those countries.) In the US, we're making some progress on solar, wind, hydro, geo, etc., but we could do more to our benefit and everybody's benefit. Thanks for the post!
