Winter Returns To Kansas...Again!
That's right, Old Man Winter has visited the Heartland again. At first our brave little girl was confused when confronted with the snow covered ground. She searched in vain for the soft, warm grass she had lain sunning herself on just the other day. She looked questioningly at me as if to say, "But it was right here! Where has it gone?"
Futilely she tried digging in the snow. Only to find the hard, frozen ground below.
Finally she plopped down on the snow in frustration.
Fear not my little companion. The snow will not last and eventually Spring will return. Hopefully at least by Summertime.

Even though I do like winter.
Putting the pups booties away before May showers arrived may have been premature. I am hoping we are done with the white stuff way up here.....you can be sure we'll keep you posted if not!
This has been a strange year so far, weather wise. We've had more snow this spring than we had all winter. To top it all off, they are already calling for a chance of snow this coming weekend again.
We really are experiencing weird weather these days. We had very little snow this winter, so little that I may have to mow the lawn soon!
Now that the weekend snow has all melted away, I'll be mowing this evening before the next snowstorm arrives this weekend.
Well buddy not to worry ,you guys will see the beauty of Spring soon enough :)

We have been enjoying spring during the week, it gets up in the 70s and the trees are flowering, then the weekend comes and it gets cold and the snow starts falling.
Well get to see all the the seasons in a week ;)

Poor little doggie. So sad looking out in the cold. Maybe a nice bone by the fireplace would cheer her up! Stay warm.

I think she was a little surprised by the snow, but later in the day, once she was used to it, she was frolicking and wanted to go for a long walk.
With such a fluffy fur coat, she probably doesn't even feel the cold.
We have snow here in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois as well. This is nuts this late into the year. Welcome to spring everyone!
Ah Bloomington, I remember it well. I spent several weeks there about 10 years ago.

I was doing some work at one of the suppliers for Mitsubishi.
Nice! My father-in-law worked there for about 25 years. His body was completely shot from it, had over 15 knee and shoulder surgeries.
15 surgeries? That's horrible! I hope the company paid a lot of worker's comp to him.
