Want to know how you can change a stray dog's life for just a couple of dollars?

It is called many things but here it is called Bravecto and it is a broad spectrum parasite killer and prevention medication that could help the suffering of animals anywhere in the world that you might discover. Nearly all homeless dogs are covered in ticks, fleas, mange, and other blood parasites... and those are just the ones you can see. Any do that has these on the outside almost certainly has heartworms and other interior parasites as well. This one table takes care of all of that and also prevents re-infestation for 3-6 months.

Often people admire the work that we do here at Krabi Animal Welfare but they either don't have the financial resources to pitch in or don't have the time to volunteer and this is completely understandable. I don't ever try to make someone feel guilty for not having time or money to help out but here is something that you can do anywhere in the world if you ever see a friendly street dog that needs a little help.

There is a very good chance that any street dog is infested. Here in Krabi almost all strays that we encounter are infested. It is something like over 95%. Therefore if you see a homeless dog, there is an extremely good chance that they are suffering from some sort of parasite.

Depending on where you live, you could, for just a few dollars, relieve the suffering of this one dog in a very meaningful way.

I understand not everyone can devote their time or hundreds of dollars to a foundation like our own and I totally understand that. I am relatively poor as well and I can't possibly donate to every worthy cause that I encounter.

There are a ton of warnings on this medication just like on any medication, but this is merely to protect the manufacturer from litigation. I have dispensed likely a thousand Bravecto tablets in the past 10 years and only once or twice have we seen any sort of ill side effect. While extremely rare this medication can cause vomiting and diarrhea or loss of appetite for days. This has always been temporary though, and you just have to take special care when this happens. Chances are though, the dog, especially a street dog whose stomach is tough as nails from eating whatever they could find for years, will experience none of this.

The best thing about this medication is that it comes in a chewable form that almost all dogs want to gobble up. I have in the past had to give medication to dogs that were in regular pill form and this is such a pain, especially if the dog doesn't know you. Well the geniuses over at whoever manufactures this product came up with the brilliant idea of making the medicine taste good and I really can't understand what took them so long as far as that is concerned.

So here is what I want to ask of all you people out there in internet-land. I know that you can't donate to us with your time or money, but if you see a friendly homeless dog in wherever you live in the world, maybe stop by a pet store and see if they have Bravecto or any chewable medication that is referred to as a fluralaner

These products cost almost nothing and you only need to give it to the dog a single time. This very easy to do and inexpensive thing can totally change a street dog's life in a wonderful way. Imagine being itchy your entire life and then one day a kind stranger comes up and give you some food and then the next day you are no longer itchy for the first time ever! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Well the keys are in your hands as far as this is concerned and I think almost all of us can afford a couple of dollars to totally change a dog's life.
