Whether you’re considering becoming a DM or are a new DM, here are some tips to help you on your new hobby path.

Tip1: Make The Game Work For You.

Instead of making them just play the story the way you want, you should let whatever is going to happen (as long as it doesnt break the rules) happen. Your story should be flexible and you can always tie your story into what the players are trying to do. What is your opinion on combining ddifferent playstyles for different players? (Battle heavy VS. RP and exploration)

That's a great question. In my group I have half RP and half battle heavy players so typically what I do is instead of determining whether or not there's going to be a combat in an encounter I really let my players choose. Most of my fights are optional and then when they do get into a fight I typically like to make it very complex and challenging to appeal to the players that really like combat. It is really good to find out before you start playing what type of players you have then you can figure out ways to appeal to them I will write another blog about this soon.
