Also, bidding bots are best used to add an extra vote from a decently high sp/rep member to boost a post and your own rep. Profit is really secondary. When I use booster and bellyrub I consider it as advertising expense. If I break even its free advertising, if i get paid its better. If I lose a little that is how much I paid to help boost a post.

i paid 4sbd for $4.99 so it's almost 20% profit. however after @dmania takes their cut i have a net loss of .26sbd on this transaction. i used @yabapmatt's steem bot to track if this would be profitable.
Those sites are not 100% accurate, there are delays especially during last few minutes of the bidding window. Most of the time you will come out profitable but there are windows that are just busier than other windows.
Those tools can only be considered an estimate.
