dmania was another data mining tool ! and the steemit platform is not that far away ! steemit kale are natural startup CBs ! they say there are whales but get in the way like a engine checklight from a 90s car ! It always goes off 10 thousand miles before you notice a decline in engine performance !
All websites that accept user-generated content are data mining tools though, centralised or decentralised. I suppose its not really a problem with the platform but a problem with self interest and how do we really manage that?
