Right, definitely if anything fails once it was never useful at all. That's why I don't bother wearing seat belts either, people have died while wearing them! And just forget condoms, they fail like 1% of the time so why bother?
The government failed. That's the point. Individual responsibility is key.
Government keeps failing and then arguing it should have more power. That's a fool's argument.
