Talks cancelled with North Korea... Who didn't see that coming🙃
WELP! There we have it folks. I was optimistic but figured something like this would happen.
N. Korea says it’s willing to talk to U.S. ‘at any time, at any format’... This is in response to President Donald Trump’s cancellation of a historic summit with Kim Jong Un planned for next month...
In a statement issued through official N. Korea state media, the speaker said that if talks were canceled, the U.S. and North Korea could instead engage in a “nuclear-to-nuclear showdown.”
Trump wrote in his letter to Kim Jong Un: “Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting.”
