Lol. Krraazy. I was just about to get some EOS, too. Although I wasn't stopped by the airdrops. Was stopped by ned and dan.
Don't let this things stop you man, I am holding EOS from back when it was 0.5$. Don't know if it is a good time to buy now, but it can be, especially with the all good news. They will be making their own exchange in cooperation with Bitfinex, something like that... Do a research first.

For each created smart contract on the EOS platform, all EOS holders will get a 1:1 air drop of said token. In the EOS platform, there isn't ICO's. There's a better way, by rewarding EOS holders. Now that's how you do it ETH. That's how...

Also if you hold EOS and want to get this airdrop and the future ones, you have to have the EOS on your ethereum address (I use myetherwallet, but it's simpler with metamask from what I have heard). Also you have to register your keys for EOS as they will move to their own blockchain in june. If you don't , you will loose your coins. I think that only people that have registered the public keys can get the airdrops. Check this article here : EOS public key. I suggest you go on their telegram group and ask questions and they will give you all the information, they are very helpfull.
