Canada's Cannabis "Legalization" Versus the Free Market
A small group of activists has held a "420 farmers market" in downtown Vancouver since 2015, when Trudeau was elected to legalize cannabis.
In late 2017/early 2018, the activists were the target of "Project Apprentice", an expensive plot to demoralize and dissolve the grassroots movement, making way for what appears to be a government monopoly.
I was there with a camera from day one. Here's our story.

It’s the best way I can support you in your cause. If I lived up there I’ll go march with you. I complain about legalization over here in California, but honestly it’s not so bad compared to what’s going down in your neck of the woods.

It was really hard holding down the Market throughout the winter, especially during our homeless experience and recooperation. We were resilient, but they sure worked hard to crush us. Damn i never can get these videos to load. I’ll try again when i get home to my wifi. They definitely got to get these bugs fixed on dtube and dlive . But what i understand about the candian plan of legalization is there will be basically 3 companies allowed to grow it and sell it. Anybody else will be demmed illegal. Pretty ridiculous!
Oh no, you're having trouble on DLive, too? So far we've only had issues with DTube, but if none of the video sites are legit, that's gonna be a bit of a problem. Can't compete in a free market, if your quality is low. I'm getting tired of having to re-upload videos because these sites stop working for most users, and they don't stop your video for long anyway, after a while it's removed from their servers and just the thumbnail stays up. Bah.
You got our legalization pegged, except it's not 3 companies, it's like 70 (and growing). But 3 "walmart of weed" type companies, yeah that may be true. The little guy is illegal. People with government paperwork make bank. It's gross. Not how cannabis likes being shared and treated!
Yeah it’s bullshit about the legalization issue. As far as the dlive issue goes it might be on my end so don’t discredit it yet. I’ll see if i can upload it on my WiFi at home. I’ll let you know if it works. If it doesn’t there though then yeah there is an issue.
