Interesting!! It now made it vividy clear to inderstand the concept of upvoting...... Not every interesting posts trends too well
But theres still a point i have not understand so far
A simple-looking whale upvote can have giant consequences for the whale.
How does it work??
there are lot of consequences involved @deji1 , e.g. you made a very good, interesting posts... you put so much effort in it... but... the notion that your post has, was against a whale's advocacy.. for example, you create a post promoting 'feminism" but this whale's advocacy is "Masculism" , that whale still, can't support your post or upvote it no matter how "great" your "content" is.... and you should not feel discouraged if the whale did not upvote your post.. you should understand there are risks if he do so...
woow 👏 such incredible words @maylyn09. I admire your sincerity upon being an intel. This secret revealation pointed out specifically the dynamics involved in upvoting. Everyone, may it be a plankton or a whale or a dolphin are not responsible for the bitterness you feel when you posted a blog you think consist of great content yet does not get the upvote you wanted. There is a living advocacy in every one of us. So if you think you gave a great blog but still that certain whale did not upvote you then maybe he/she is not an advocate of what you represent.
if you're a whale, then if you are an advocate of "this side" but then you also get inclined on "the other side", what would people think of you? they may think you're a "turncoat person" right? and then, when people think of you negatively, your power will be likely to diminish... you will get "unfollows"... then you will be a smaller fish... then you cannot support other minnows post greatly...
