This is my latest Steemit interview with @jerrybanfield

We discussed many interesting topics, including:

  • His expansion to new Steem blockchain platforms including @dlive and @dsound
  • Recent STEEM & SBD declines
  • The future of Steemit
  • The areas of concern on the Steem platform
  • Much more

This is my first post to DLive!

My video is at DLive

Another nice interview. Have considered interviewing Curie?

I don't know who that is! Can you tell me more?

She might be referring to Project Curie.

Curie (@curie) is a community organization that discovers promising authors, rewards quality posts, and empowers quality curators. Curie also serves as a community witness. Curie consists of many curators. Our community rep and spokesperson is @carlgnash.

Pretty simple and concisely put @geekgirl. Curie uses a stone to kill two birds by discovering promising authors and rewarding those that find them. This helps greatly to allow some fair share of the reward pool at least, giving some space for appreciable earning and encouragement to those putting up quality on the platform rather than chaff...

I appreciate your comments

This is good. Keep doing work~

You two are great together. It's nice to see some level headed and calm content producers lol. I really enjoyed Jerry's insight on which how to choose which Steem front end to use. It definitely makes me consider posting on DLive instead of DTube as that 25% will make a difference in the long run. The message of just persistent posting regardless of the price is the best advice for Steemians in my opinion.

Trump isn't that bad.

I guess I never thought of it that way

"Recent STEEM & SBD declines"

Could someone please pump the SBD value?

It was a great pleasure watching the interview. Artificial nice or not, it's good to see that we are encouraging people to be nice, no one wants drama. No one wants to see trash talkers. Even if you want to criticize someone there is always a nice way to give constructive criticism.

I don't totally disagree for sure

David thank you for doing this second interview with me and uploading your first video to @dlive today! I am happy you got past the initial sign in errors happening for everyone and will keep an eye out for your new videos on https://dlive.io/@davidpakman

Thank you for showing us your view. As a minnow I have a bit different view on things and I think the developing team should listen to new users because they are building this platform. Well, I tried to get in touch a few times but not successful. Which is reasonable, because I don't have power. And here it begins. THE POWER. Steemit should be an independent media and there should be a lot of quality writers with their view on thongs and not Rothschild media machine. For new writer is already now almost impossible to get on the big wall. Imagine, how it will be when there will be a few million users. A lot of quality and original content goes for nothing. And we are still in beta phase! A lot of apps are coming out just because Steemit is not finished and it is not using potential. I and my friend are considering about developing an app, which will provide some features which are critically needed. A lot of third-party apps and platforms and however brings a lot of scams, stealing accounts and decentralization in a bad meaning. Can you imagine FB without like an option? So you need to go to the other site, which uses FB and can like there. Nonsense. And this is happening now on Steemit. My ideas for the better platform are : an algorithm for new posts, some sorting of posts, categories, user friendly editor for new posts, and some restrictions. As a new user who is working hard every day, to make steemit good place and posting original content, a good one with pics on almost pro standard, it makes me sad and desperate when I see some girl gets 300$ for her first post, just because she knows some whale. Her posts are bad and taking attention from a good one. And as I see those people are mostly not taking care for steemit at all. ASAP they check out SBD and STEEM and life goes on. The real Steemian should hodl and make it more worth it, give also to other, support other with good content. It would be a shame if someone stops posting just because they don't have support. So the whales should have some sort of blockade how big upvote can give to someone (it should be ranked on posts this person have, curations and so on). Ok, However it is great to see someone who wants to make Steemit better place and secure its future. Thank you for doing this

yes indeed, thank you for doing it!

Checking out DLive, eh? What would you think about doing a LIVE show or segment for an hour? I have a lot of fun on DLive, cool to see you check it out.

I'd definitely consider that

Awesome to hear. It would take some planning, but I’m sure you are used to a degree of that in the first place.

You two are great together. It's nice to see some level headed and calm content producers :)

thanks for the kind words!

What @gomovies did can be considered as copy-paste comment spam. The original comment was posted by @crystalgeometry.

upvote removed. thanks for calling it to my attention. that stuff is rampant on Steem.

@gomovies Nice plagiarism of my comment asshole

@davidpakman could you please put this on youtube? Dlive is having so many problems. I cannot watch this it stops every 5 sec. and it drives me crazy. I really would like to know about the decline and if there is hope that it will go up soon.

I am also having problems watching the video. It takes a while to load and only plays a few seconds and reloads again etc.

Got it working! Check your internet connection @lola-barca. I upgraded and now streaming is faster. Hope it will play for you.
