Cycling the Waterford Greenway (plus a drone crash) - Ireland DLive video
Waterford, Ireland. An old Viking town on the south coast of Ireland, it attracts many visitors every year for a variety of reasons. Not the least of which is the beautiful surrounding countryside.
This is the last of our superstar blogger/vlogger group that took on epic adventures in Ireland. If you want to see my posts for those, check out our caving adventure and our canyoning adventure.

So we drove from Galway all the way down to Waterford, about a 5 hour trip, and we got settled into our hotel. Dooley's Hotel is a cozy, family-owned hotel in Downtown Waterford that graciously provided a us with a couple nights stay in exchange for online exposure. We were warmly welcomed and given beautiful rooms.

One of the things the owner recommended us to do was cycle the Waterford Greenway, a flat paved path that runs 40+ kilometers connecting Waterford and Dungarvan, another coastal town to the west. They knew the operators of a bike rental that was specifically for the Greenway and they said they could hook us up. How cool is that?
Waterford Greenway Bike Hire has 3 locations: one in Waterford, one in Dungarvan, and the last right in between them. We decided to drive to the half way point, pick up our bikes there, cycle to Dungarvan, then get shuttled back to our car courtesy of the Bike Hire. It was great! We were all take care of and we didn't have to backtrack or anything.
Of course, it started to rain once we got on our bikes. Welcome to Ireland. But we didn't let that phase us. We still got great views of the beautiful green countryside. We made many stops for pictures and videos because, you know, bloggers. We also stopped at a small local roadside pub to refresh ourselves.
On top of the really cool bridges we rode over, there was also a tunnel we went through. It was surrounded and covered by greenery. What made it even more interesting was the fairy doors hanging on the cliff walls outside the tunnel. Who put them there? Fairies probably. Or Ronaldo.
Todd was getting some drone footage of the fairy tunnel when he lost control of it and crashed it inside the tunnel. It turned out to be okay. DJIs can take a bit of a beating.

We finally made it to Dungarvan to end our cycle ride. Our butts and thighs were begging us to stop at that point. We got picked up in the Waterford Greenway Bike Hire shuttle and got back to our car.
What people's face looks like after I crack a joke
We had an awesome day cycling the Greenway and Dooley's Hotel was the perfect place to rest afterwards. Thank you to them and [Waterford Greenway Bike Hire}(https://www.waterfordgreenwaybikehire.com/) for hooking us up.
Have you been to Ireland and seen sights like this?
